SBalfour I moved into the house on Feb12 and although it is a large garden, it's mostly taken up with bushes/roses,bramle that have been allowed to take over.  I took up turf from two 6x4ft areas, and through friends giving me veg., I have potatoes, shallots, onions in one, and Broad Beans, Peas and French beans in the other. very limited space

The little things

bunnymaz Still lacking in space but determined to do my best, I've been working on organising the garden.   The front of the house has a 4ft by 1ft space along one wall, that now houses my potted olive, almond, fig and rowan trees.  Although the local squirrels got to my rown sapling while it was still small, and it may or may not be dead now. jeni I have grown mostly herbs and few salad items over the last 2 years, but this year decided to see how much more I could make of my space. I have several photos uploaded in my filles,to show what worked. most things have worked but the only things that did not work well were cucumbers and radishes.
