I moved into the house on Feb12 and although it is a large garden, it's mostly taken up with bushes/roses,bramle that have been allowed to take over.  I took up turf from two 6x4ft areas, and through friends giving me veg., I have potatoes, shallots, onions in one, and Broad Beans, Peas and French beans in the other.
