Saw an immediate improvement. We had problems with animals getting in under a wire fence from next door. They would get past bricks piled up, bite through the fence and get inside a net tunnel protecting cabbages. They kept digging them up. Not any more. We only put it on at night. As soon as we stopped again the problem returned so you have to be vigilant turning it on. As mentioned it only goes off it it detects movement, then squirts a jet of water. The noise of it going off is enough to deter cats.
Cost about £20 from amazon.
i use lots of lemon and orange peelings
wipe it on walls and fences
also scatter it amongst plants
yes they will sit on catnip and eat it and roll on it good one also.
I bought one of the battery operated sonic cat repellants and had noticed cats for a while until one day my delusions were shattered, there was a cat sitting right in front of it and I could here the quiet clicks of the repeller being activated . So it may work for some cats and not others.
