A “Palio diet” “Food Forest garden” (based on Robert Hart’s ideas) I am looking for a pocket of land about 100m by 100m and a lot of help and donations of time plants and money to implement a model forest garden. It will be based on a Palio diet and R Hart’s seven layers idea. In addition to this, an extensive use of permaculture and hugelkultur practices. “Palio Diet” is a diet of fruit vegetables and protein but no dairy or grains. The idea being that in this model, wild animals will have controlled access to the site. I am looking at providing foraging for deer, rabbit, bird and fish. What I hope to achieve from this study is to find out how much theoretical yield can be produced from this model and to what extent it can be scaled down before it fails.

We're working with schools, communities, surgeries, libraries and lots of other organisations to create instant allotments all over the region.

I would like to form a group and find some land for some chickens and veg! Anyone Welcome!
