Riverbank is a vegetable, fruit and herb garden in south Manchester. We have a patch of previously derelict land that is being transformed. We have capacity to have more people involved. We won't allocate plots to individual people but regular volunteers will be able to take away some of the produce. Facebook page is Riverbank ccmg
We a re a community market garden currently being set up behind the Coop on Barlow Moor Rd/Hardy Lane. We don't have individual plots but regular visitors and helpers can take away produce as well as get free training. Facebook: Riverbank ccmg
I would like enough of a plot to grow veg, and to have some hens, at a push a bit more stock to play with. Willing to muck in and help with others and work the land for the best results
Hi, we are a young family who all live in a flat with no garden, so would love the opportunity to have some access to some outside space and have a go at growing some veggies!
I hear that the waiting list for allotments in Stevenage is about 300 people, so here goes ... I'm relatively close to the Hertford Road allotments. Back garden has sadly suffered from serious neglect - no longer has 8 ft bramble covering most of the area, but frankly, I'm struggling to keep on top of it (as well as front garden) and/or get them both as nice as I want them to be. I love being out in the gardens, but finding the time and energy can be difficult. I'm very very open-minded as to what to do with the space but the 'plan' for the back has always included an area for growing food and if possible, 2-3 fruit trees. I guess this is a bit of a cheeky post! - what I really need is a gardener, but can't afford one, so looking for a really keen grower who perhaps doesn't have any green space of their own and would like to work with me on mine - if that's you, then I'll likely fall in with your ideas for how to use the garden, so you'd have a fair amount of control and I'll happily contribute to at least half the costs of seeds plants, etc, possibly more as long as you don't go too mad! Used to work for a conservation charity, so am very keen to keep the space wildlife friendly and avoid chemicals. If you've got this far and are interested, let's talk - I have pics I can e-mail. Thanks!

Hello I'm Amanda I'm nearly 25 years old and work at Lush Carlisle! I'm a loving natural mummy to my gorgeous daughter Amelia-Rose. I want the best for her as anyone would and want her to understand where food comes from and to have fun growing it! My husband and I are very lucky to of just bought our first home and are enjoying starting to grow our own! Only problem is we are running out of window space and can't afford to get a greenhouse not that we really have the space for it anyway!
i am i my first year of beekeeping and would like to have a place to keep bees on a permanant site looking for a farm out building or corner of field idealy some land put aside for nature
looking for some land to put bee hive on would be usefull for crop pollination of oil seed rape or beans looking for permanant site but will move to croped areas if needed
If anyone has a small piece of land that maybe needs clearing then I'm looking to set up some composting bays and areas to chip my waste. I run a small gardening business and have no room at my own house to compost the waste created. If someone is willing to let me have some space then I'll happily clear it and keep it tidy for them. Please he in touch.
