I live in south woodford with my fiance and two boys aged 3 and 5, I have a large garden with 4 patches divided into 2 large patchs and 2 long slim patches, 1 of the larger patches is around 15 metres long maybe bigger so thats just an example. I am looking for a female who knows about growing veg or even interested in teaching someone (me) to grow for free and in return we can split the produce. As i am really interested in growing veg but am scared to do anything about it, i mean ive grown potatoes and spring onions but would like to grow alot more so need someone with a little experiance.

I have a small north facing garden which is ruining my life. It needs at total revamp, but I would prefer to grow food rather than plant a flower garden. Growers can access the garden from the street and can come as often as they wish. Access to water when I am in the house, which is most of the time. Probably suited to a dedicated determined individual!

I have a busy life and a garden that really needs some work. I try and grow the odd vegetable but really need someone who wants to transform this 70ft garden into a thriving veg patch.
I have a 70ft garden that is seriously underused. I try and grow the odd vegetable but rarely have the time or expertise to do it properly. I want someone to transform this space into a thriving veg patch. I would supply the land, and a bit of labour but you need to do the hard work! Hopefully we could then share the bounty.

I have a large garden growing organic fruit and veg, just off Lea Bridge Road, near Markhouse Road, within easy reach of Walthamstow, Leyton, Clapton or Hackney. It has been organic for 30 years, but my friends and I are now finding it difficult to manage. I am trying to get together a small team of helpers to work one evening a week (at the moment Tuesday). No experience necessary, but need to be committed to organic principles. In return, a chance to learn, enjoy the open air and share in the crops produced.

I am a would-be grower in South Woodford (North East London) and am keen to try my hand at growing fruit, vegetables and herbs. If anybody has a small amount of land to donate to this cause I would be very happy indeed and would gladly pay my way in produce grown. Thanks in advance...

Hi, Sarah here! I've lived in a 4th floor flat since I was 11 and only recently, aged 23, started thinking about growing my own. I have very, very basic experience in doing so but would love the chance to start trying to grow my own, organic fruit and vegetables. As a vegan I get through an awful lot of fruit and veg, to the point where I can't really afford to buy the food I want to buy. So growing would be a good alternative, plus it would be organic :) OK so what would you get from this? Well, I can help you out in the garden if you tell me what to do! I'll of course keep the plot clean and fruitful and anything I grow you are welcome to help yourself to. I have an idea of what I want to grow but if you'd like me to grow something for you, then great :) I've got plans for lots of herbs, root veg and some fruits but would need to do some more research and also see how big your land is to figure out logistics :) What I'd like from it - well, your land of course! But, if possible, a hose/way to water the plot as I have weak wrists and can't carry massive jugs of water. Also, if you could water the plots if I won't be about, that would be lovely. Somewhere to store a few tools/compost/pots etc would be handy, but not so essential if you live very close as I can bike over (I don't have a car.) If you have composting facilites or would like to start composting, I'd be happy to help, in exchange for some lovely compost for the garden :) Also, if you can offer any advice, perhaps your a grower yourself but just don;t have the time, energy or health any more, then lets pair up, my youthfull enthuseasm for your gardening experience will make a great team :) I will not be using any chemicals of any sort in the garden, strictly organic food so if that is a concern, you're safe with me. long message, but I hope you know everything that can allow you to make an informed decison :) thanks for reading, and hope to hear form you soon!

My beekeeping partner and me are looking for places to site hives in the Walthamstow area and beyond, but not too far beyond. Rent would be paid in the form of honey from the hive, so you'd get to find out how your place tastes to a bee (kind of). We would need easy access but not all that much space. This is not strictly speaking vegetable growing, but try growing runner beans or courgettes without those little ladies.

Live in East London looking for other like minded people to create something and build a community, like earth ship or food growing or anything that we all can benefit. Also looking for people interested in sustainable living not just for food but also energy electricity, since would go great to great all year around but with great resources and strategy with efficiency. Also if a part time job can grow from this really interested to see how it goes peace.
Amateur gardener and agricultural enthusiast. I am very interested in newer farming and gardening techniques that is very efficient and gain the most abundance from your crops. I have been introduced to square foot gardening and trying it out for the first time this year. I am also very interested in aquaponics and hydroponics.
Hi, my name is Alex. I am a photographer from London and old Hugh has inspired me to get on here and have a noise around. Not sure what I plan on doing, but I wondered what was going on in my area - E17 (like the band).
I have a small balcony with a few herbs but ideally would love a bit more space to grow some fruit and/or veg. Ideally I would like to be involved in a community project of some sort.
