unused garden

I have joined Landshare to explore how my Mother and I could make the most of a 30 Metre Garden in Edmonton North London. The garden- which is mostly soil based and arranged across two huge beds and a path- has become difficult to maintain. It has areas of both light and shade and things we've managed to grow successfully in it include a pear tree, various shrubs and roses, bay trees etc. We'd most like to have someone use the garden by tidying and maintaining a portion - growing fruit and vegetables there and making the most of the largish space. Ideally that would be someone who does not currently have access to a garden or allotment and would like some space to grow. My mother is elderly so the grower would need to be vetted by me and as access to the garden is through the house we'd really like to find someone- perhaps a young family or single female- that we can trust and who has a genuine desire to grow and harvest fruit and veg. The ideal would be to find someone who appreciates our need to see the garden used and put in the time to really make a difference and get a great harvest. Daniel

I have a large garden with 4 patches divided into 2 large patchs and 2 long slim patches, 1 of the larger patches is around 15 metres long maybe bigger so thats just an example. I am looking for a female who knows about growing veg or even interested in teaching someone (me) to grow for free and in return we can split the produce. As i am really interested in growing veg but am scared to do anything about it, i mean ive grown potatoes and spring onions but would like to grow alot more so need someone with a little experiance.
