Hi we are near Ross on Wye. We have an acre paddock which is fenced and private. Good acess, no water at present but available from our garden via hosepipe. Interested in hearing from people that might like to use the land for non commercial veg growing. Also interested in pigs, sheep, geese or turkeys. Let me know if you have any other ideas. Wayne

We have a ten acre smallholding and keep rare breed sheep and pigs as well as poultry and two elderly donkeys. We also grow our own vegetables. We are really looking for someone that could look after the animals and garden occasionally in return for meat, eggs and vegetables.

Not much experience but a lot of energy and enthusiasm... We dug over the lawn last winter and grew some stuff quite successfully, but we are limited by the space available. Really looking to make contact with someone with an acre or two, to grow lots of veg, maybe some livestock too?

I am 23years old, I have grown up in the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire. After tasting life in the corporate/ professional IT world, the long hours, diminishing health, consumer lifestyle, and food. I Seek a different way, living more in tune with nature. Currently living in the forest, getting back in touch with reality, whilst planning and collecting resources. I am very interested in, and have spent years researching and learning about eco-buildings, advanced methods of farming, alternative energy technologies and viable, sustainable methods and technologies that will allow our species to transcend this "system" of greed, warfare and poverty, and continue living on this planet. My target is to construct a log cabin, earthship or some kind of eco-house, completely getting off the grid and experimenting with modern agricultural methods like aquaponics, bio-dynamics, and forest gardens, hopefully over long enough a period to be able to develop my own cultivars, some from wild plants. For the last couple of years I have been learning about wild edible and medicinal plants. I go on many walks, spend long periods of time in the wild, and regularly eat a wide variety of wild foods. I am looking for land to build on, looking for the perfect location. I am based in the Gloucestershire, however I am looking in the surrounding areas to. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who would like to help out, or cooperate in anyway with the project. I am also looking for some hands-on experience, maybe assisting some of the many already functioning farms and eco-villages that utilize some of the aforementioned methods and technologies.

I would love somewhere to grow veggies, maybe keep bees. I have a very small garden, but would like to have a proper veggie plot. I live in the centre of ColefordGloucestershire, but am happy to travel a few miles or so. I am happy to share and help.

I'm the father of two young daughters both too young to help with the gardening. I'm interested in novel approaches to growing incorporating permaculture and a reduced reliance on non renewable energy. I like growing squash and pumpkins, pseudocereals, hot peppers, tomatoes, sweetcorn and a few unusual vegetables. I would also like to raise animals particularly pigs, sheep and various poultry. Currently looking for land to experiment on and also happy to help or advise other groups.
