I have quite a large garden that is split into two portions. Also a shed to store tools. Would like just a little of the produce grown as their is only the two of us. Live in Chorley Lancs.

hi - I'm active on the Chorley Allotment Society in Lancashire and have been allotment gardening for several years. I've learned a lot - mostly how much more there is to learn and how little I still know! I'm interested in promoting Allotments and other forms of community or individual food growing becoasue of the environmental, social and physical benefits it gives. My 'day job' is as a consultant in the fields of housing and regeneration with particular interest in environmental and social sustainability. So although I'm not looking for a plot myself and have no land to offer, I'm very supportive of the landshare movement and will do all I can to assist it.

I'm a Landscape Architect living in Whittle-le-Woods. I'm really interested in growing my own veg but have the smallest garden in the world! So any space I can squeeze on would be great. I'm also happy to help with advise and stuff but keep in mind my expertise lies in low maintenance ornamental planting including trees in urban areas, parks, nature reserves etc. also environmental law.

I am originally from South Africa, came over to UK in 1998 with my 18 month son, folks are from Liverpol and Wales. Growing over there was relatively easy, stick in ground and watch it grow. I live in chorley in Lancashire and am hoping to grow my own with a bit of hepl from local folk who can teach me what and how. I worked in finance most of my life, but decided this was the only life and went back to college and am now a qualified aromatherapist.swedish massuse and Reiki and Karuna Reiki practitioner. I have the most wonderful guy who is not at all into gardening but he sure is a dab handy man. 2 kids, 15 son and 11 daughter, 3 cats and 2 dogs. Love cooking, baking and socialinzing when can. Love River Cottage as it so real to normal folk. Hope to find someone to help me and my garden. Knowledge is the key.

I am a father of 2 adorable children, and taking over the garden this year I showed my partner what could be done, and we are in the middle of creating our own seasonal veg/fruit calender for the garden next year. I am disabled due to a problem at birth which has been made worse from a car accident, and has left me unable to work. But i have a lot of friends who help me out, and stop me from struggling, and for this i give them thanks by making my own homebrew, I prefer my Meads and wine's but this year is the first year of doing cider, thanks to people donating spare apples they don't use. I play guitar and piano like an amateur!!! Enjoy reading books and fishing, Hugh showed me from the beginning of a cook on the wild side that going back to our root's in this modern technological world is not only possible but is also healthier and cheaper.
