The Time Bank was recently contacted by an elderly man with a large garden in Blackheath. He would like to see someone make use of it as he can't manage it himself anymore. In return for using the garden, he would like a bit of any produce grown in it.

I have 2.5m x 8m approx available. this land has previously been succesfully used for growing veg. I would like very much for someone to come and make the most of it. The plot is currently clear and ready for planting.

We have a large patch of land at the end of a long garden, of which you would be welcome to use as much or as little as you wished. It has produced a huge quanitity of delicious veg, fruit and enjoyment over the years. We are sadly no longer able to keep it going but would welcome somebody dependable and friendly that was willing to. All the kit, tools and facilities you could need are in place and would be yours to use.

I have recently moved and have a 3 acre plot and am looking for someone who wants to enjoy the space (for vedgies patch, wild flower garden, bee-keeping or other exciting ideas) and is willing to help me and my children learn along the way! Jo

I did attempt to grow my own this year, which has resulted in a crop of one onion, a stringy piece of rhubarb and an oblong pumpkin! I feel therefore that I may be in need of some help!!

We are a family of four and have a reasonable sized back garden and also a front garden. At the moment the back garden is overtaken with toys but we could easily mark out a plot to grow on. Also the front garden is available to be used for a small plot too (it is currently laid to grass and the graveyard that is my attempt at growing vegetables).

The back garden gets varying amounts of sun as we have quite a few trees, but the front garden is in sun most of the day. We have outdoor access to water and the house is accesable by road and path. We also have a small gardeners shed which could be used to store tools/equiptment if needed.

I would be able to offer pretty much open access to the garden weekdays before 5 but would want weekends to ourselves, we all like some private time!

All I ask is a small share of the profits and that you don't mind the children playing and running around in the garden whilst you are busy! I would also be happy to help with some of the work under your direction!

Produce vegetables to be donated or sold. Greenhouse and out building/workshop an advantage.

Myself along with my wife, sister and children are looking for a little bit a land to grow some veg. We all live in New Town and have very small patio gardens. After a couple of years of growing what we can we are now looking to expand. There are only so many things you can grow in tubs! If you have a bit of space then please let us know. I grow vegetable in a very small town garden and i am running out of space fast. I currently have 43 tomato plants, aubergines, peppers, potatos, cucumbers, courgettes, herbs, strawberries, rasberries, figs, blackcurrants and herbs in my tiny garden and would really like more space to grow fruit and winter veg I don't care about the condition of the land, happy to do some hard work but ideally would like something in Colchester.

I have a tiny garden at home which is pretty restricted for growing veg so I would really like the chance to grow much more elsewhere. I'm more than happy to share the produce with the landowner and do some tidying up round the garden in return. Please let me know if you have a growing space for me. I do have some experience of creating wildflower meadows so I could create one for you aswell if you wish (any size).

I would love the opportunity to grow fruit and veg in a garden in Colchester.
