I have a back garden available for cultivation. I am disabled and cannot manage it, but would be willing to let someone else use it as a veg plot in return for a small share of the produce. I have been growing veg and fruit in a small way for the past couple of years in our back garden, and absolutely love it! We are moving to a flat at the end of August (to be near the station as my husband commutes) and I am looking for a piece of land to which I can transfer my fruit trees and greenhouse, and continue to grow in a slightly larger way to provide food for us and our family. The plot would need to be in Kettering or surrounding villages (we are currently in the Avondale Road area, but will be moving to Station Road). Our current plot is tidy and we have produced some lovely stuff this year. We would treat any plot we used with respect and would maintain it really well. I do want to continue what is a relaxing and rewarding hobby when we move, so any piece of land (preferably which doesn't need any more renovation than digging over) would be welcomed. Myself and my partner Avril have recently moved back to the uk from Gran Canaria. We both love growing fruit and veg but cant afford a property with a large garden and have tried to apply for an allotment, but with a waiting list of 5+ years we need to explore other avenues.
Green Dane with young family loves organic gardening, garden wild life and eating fresh produce. In process of buying house with large 200+ ft garden in Rushden. Unfortunately have very little time for gardening....so wltm a keen grower with interested in setting up and maintaining a fruit and veg plot in our garden. Will pay for materials for raised beds, paths etc for 1/3 of your harvest.
