The Community Farm is now up and running - 'Fayre Share Farms' and is on the lookout for additional members to join in!! OUR ORIGINAL OFFER: Our family has a piece of land that we are interested in utilising as a Community Supported Agriculture farm/smallholding project. We would like to investigate the amount of interest in the project before formally launching, if necessary. We have/had Chickens (both for Eggs and Table), Pigs, small vegetable/fruit areas that we will be increasing vastly if this venture seems to gather a lot of interest. We also have some horses and ponies and are interested in getting a (very) small herd of cattle. We are new to 'smallholding' but would love to get a group of likeminded people together in the interests of providing produce for its members and the local community. If you are from Clanfield/Catherington or surrounding areas and feel that you may be interested in supporting a project like this getting off the ground please do get in touch :-)

I have land but that is about all i know!!! It is i think chalk and it seems to drain well.

Hello to all you green fingered people, I am currently looking for an exchange of knowledge for land. I am a recent smallholder who understands the livestock side, but has little experience in growing vegetables etc. I am looking to exchange land, the odd piece of dexter beef, a nice bit of pork, some fresh eggs or some fresh spring lamb for your experience.
