Image by www.jennyibrahim.co.uk If you’d like to spice up a dull Monday evening by cooking dinner with a top River Cottage chef, and thousands of online friends, then this is your chance. Landshare and River Cottage have teamed up with our friends at NVA and Central Station for a live Twitter cook-along – twEAts.

We'll give you a shopping list of seasonal ingredients that you’ll need to make a mystery dish. Perhaps you can pick some from your Landshare plot. Then, on 16th August, Head Chef Tim Maddams will cook a River Cottage recipe from his base at the River Cottage Canteen and Deli in Axminster.

So what will you be cooking? We're not revealing the final meal just yet, so that the cook-along is a bit of a surprise. We'll tell you the ingredients so you can get prepped for cooking a fantastic River Cottage recipe, and can tell you it will be vegetarian. There’ll be enough to feed a bunch of friends, so invite your pals round for a dinner with a difference.

Central StationGlasgow HarvestThe list of the ingredients that you’ll need is below. So get yourself prepped up, invite some friends round and Follow us on Twitter to take part. It'll be a fun night, see you in tweetland!

Ingredients. Have your ingredients ready and be set to start cooking from 7pm.

75g pumpkin seeds

Large bunch of parsley

50g parmesan or matured goat's cheese, finely grated.

8 courgettes, about 1kg

4 cloves garlic

300ml of rapeseed or extra virgin olive oil

1/2 teaspoon thyme leaves

20 basil leaves, cut into strips

Salad leaves for 4

200g crumbly goats cheese

3 lemons

8 thick slices bread

Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Plus a hot tip: Have a food processor or blender to hand.

So that's it. The above will feed 4 lovely friends, if you are cooking for more or less, just adjust to suit. Make sure you follow us on twitter, and be ready for the cooking instructions to start at 7pm on Monday 16th August. It's going to be tasty.

TwEATs is being hosted by Central Station as part of Harvest, a celebration of food and growing taking place on 28th August in Glasgow, and delivered by NVA. Click here for more details of the Harvest event.

Hi Kymbogs - how did your pesto turn out? I did mine the lo-tech way and it turned out fine. A bit chunky, but we don't mind that. : )

Hello there. Chef says not to worry - everything that needs done can either be chopped by hand or use a pestle and mortar. So low-fi or high-tech is all good!

Hi there, We'll ask Chef's advice!

I'm a little worried though as with the seeds, hard cheese, oil and herbs it sounds like it could be pesto-ish and as I only have a stick blender at the moment, I don't think this will be up to the job!
