I am the owner of a lovely smallholding on the somerset/devon border which consists of a small two bedroom cottage, some disused outbuildings and three large fields. A freshwater stream also runs through the property. The property has been vacant for a reasonable period and needs some work to make it livable. Likewise the outbuildings need some work to make the functional. I intend on making the smallholding my home in a couple of years time but in the meantime it is such a pity to see it go to waste and deteriorate further.

Ideally, Im looking to find and ambitious, passionate couple with vision and a burning desire to live the "Good Life". Whilst the house and land do require work, the potential land sharers would benefit from a rent free existence in a beautiful location. I would like to enter an agreement with someone for say a period of 2-3 years which would guarantee them occupation of the premises for this period. This would enable the right people to really benefit from cultivating the land and perhaps stocking it with some livestock. It would also be enough to time to turn the house into a simple home and benefit from a rent free lifestyle and a more self sustainable lifestyle.
